| New Average Records is a modern independent net label run by people with a real musical background and 20 years of experience in music business on the creative and producing side. The label was founded by musician, producer and sound engineer Dirk Henry in 2007 for the purpose of releasing music he is personally involved with or he likes without making any compromises in content and time scales or waiting for 3rd parties' promises becoming real. The label is very small but dedicated to the acts they do, currently run by two people and starts as a pure net-label selling music as downloads at all leading download retailers worldwide and CDs through some selected online shops. The music released on New Average Records is committed to the taste of the founder that is: rock, pop, indie, new wave - generally strong song-writing embedded in music playable by bands. Dirk has almost 20 years of experience as professional musician (studio and stage - formally signed to BMG), sound engineer and producer. His credits include mixing work for New York's "we are Scientists"(crap attack 06) as well as engineers' and musicians' work for german multi platinum selling act "Wir sind Helden" among many other great but more or less "successful" bands. |
